I have just been lucky to buy a lovely new pair of pink open toe sandals, they have adjustable straps which help me a lot with my awkwardly shaped toe which has always been a problem when buying new female footwear. I bought them at Deichmann who also sell some of their female footwear in larger sizes XL and XXL. These sandals are size UK 9 or EU43.
I would like to wear hold ups with them as I like the feel of nylon clad legs and feet, but my SO seems to think that I should not wear anything on my legs when wearing open toe sandals.
I am a Type 2 diabetic so I do have to be careful with my feet.
Here is the write up about these sandals from the Deichmann website, Easy Street Ladies walking sandal. If you are looking for a pair of shoes that are practical and comfortable and will ensure you are supported with each and every step then we would recommend these Easy Street walking sandals. They are made from a soft brown material with a baby pink inner that peeks out throughout the shoe. There are also three touch fasten straps, two across the foot and one around the heel for extra support and comfort.
I am hoping to wear these sandals when attending a Pride parade and event.
I look forward to any comments and suggestions.
Your SO is quite right, you’re in Surrey, not Essex! Gilly.
