Hi. Hope all you girls are having a very feminine day.
Remove some makeup can be as easy as using a tissue and a little bit if soap and water then pat dry. But some of todays makeup is a lot harder to take remove. What do you use to take off your makeup? If you use a special technique please explain how and what you use.
I've used a little baby oil to do this too.
I use makeup remover wipes and then soap and water after them.
That's nice Michelle,
But do use any particular brand or type of makeup removed? Makeup remover comes in different forms. On towels in bottles etc. Please give us a little more details. Thanks
I use the wipes, no particular brand.
Well depends on when and where I remove my makeup. Usually I start with a makeup wipe the alcohol wipes burn a little but do a better job of removing the makeup and I follow with a non alcohol wipe helps sooth my face. But then I follow with a cotton ball and Cover Girl makeup remover. It is nice in many aspects it removes every makeup, lipstick, eyeliner and even helps in removal of my eyelash glue I use. This leaves a little oily film but it makes my skin feel moisturized and not so rough as the wipes or soap and water do. Some lipsticks leave a stain and Cover Girl makeup remover is good at helping remove that staining but some times I still have to use a little soap and water on the lips to remove the last of the stain but that is very rare. (I have never used lip-stains though to clarify). If I have the time and I am at home I usually just use the cover girl makeup remover and a cotton ball and not wipes.
One thing I will say about Cover Girl makeup remover when doing my eyes I like to remove some of the excess oil around my eyes after I have removed the makeup. I use a Kleenex tissue or soft cloth or my eyes will get a little cloudy from the oily residue. It never burns my eyes but some times I have to blink away the oily residue a few times if I do not remove the excess and that can be annoying. : )
Hope this helps.
Jenna...I use Neutrogena non-scented makeup remover wipes, they work well for me. Also, I use a lip primer before I put on lipstick and that makes it easier to remove (especially the matte lipstick).
Once I have everything removed I use my face cleanser to clean off anything that remains.

I have wipes and coconut oil which is good for removing makeup. What I find work real well and is inexpensive is baby oil. I've used that a lot the past few years.
Hi Brienna,
Thanks for the reply. I've seen a lot on the matte finish lipsticks on the market recently, but I've never used them. I like Revlon super lustrous in a crème red myself. Would you mind giving us a little more information on the one you use and why. I'm sure some of the other girls would love to know more about using matte finish lipsticks.. How do you like the matte finish over the others, and what brand and color do you use. What brand of lip primer do you use. Thanks sweetie
Hi Jenna,
I like to wear matte lipstick with my casual outfits (skinny jeans or skirt) if I were dressing for something fancier I would probably just wear regular lipstick.
I start with ELF lip primer, I haven't tried other primers but I really like this one. Right now my two favorite matte lipsticks are L.A Girl Black Current....very sassy look and ELF Wine.
Sometimes I use a lip plumper to try and make my lips fuller and I might put a little gloss on just to give kind of a wet look to my lips (Cover Girl Wetsticks)
The first time I used matte lipstick without a primer it was very difficult to remove, I panicked a little because I haven't outed myself to anyone and purple lips would have been hard to explain.
Hope this helps
Hugs

One of the great things about using baby oil other than it removes all forms of makeup effectively and it's inexpensive is once you get the makeup off you re done. You don't need to do anymore cleaning. I find using soap and water after using some other makeup removal products just dries my skin out.
Hi Jenna, I use neutrogena wipes for most things (I wish they sold the liquid form in a bottle for dipping qtips for quick makeup cleanups while applying). I also use Neutrogena waterproof makeup remover which is a two phase oil/water mix. You shake it up and apply to a pad. great for removing eyeliner.
As has already been said the Neutrogena brand wipes seem to be what works best overall. My Mary Kay lady gave me a small trial bottle of their makeup remover and I was hooked! It not only gets the lipstick off but no more racoon eyes. It REALLY works on eyeliner and mascara so I now keep a bottle in my makeup bag and a small bottle in my purse. When my daughter started playing with makeup I also bought her a bottle.
Cheers

Hi Gina,
Try the baby oil it works pretty quick just rub in in and wipe it of with some tissue. I never used the wiped. They are probably expensing if you need to remove the makeup a lot...Some of us girls may have to do this a few times a day. Be sexy sweetie
My favorite is the Lancome Bi-Facil with the round pads. I have also found some of the drug store liquid types very similar and way less money.
