Hi ladies,
I have recently ordered a corset to replace my old, badly fitting and worn out corset.
I am wondering what you typically wear between a corset and your skin. I usually use a thin t-shirt, but I want something a bit more femme and cooler.
What do you use?
Hi DeLora,
I have recently ordered one also, and by Orchard Corset they recommend a liner. They have Bamboo liners $15.00 for one and $35.00 for three. I'll be ordering them soon.
Hugs
Traditionally, a woman wore a chemise under the corset. It was a light linen material and could be worn, laundered, repaired, and replaced easily. A corset was an investment for a lady, so it was not easily replaced.
A nice, light chemise or camisole would be a fine feminine under layer for a corset.
Typically for me it's my blouse it's just something about the first time I saw a corset being worn that way that I fell in love with it and that's the way I've worn them ever since I've also got a few dresses that I wear of corset over and it does wonders for those as well
