Wig help

I bye my wigs from Beauty n More a store around me that has very inexpensive wigs.  I went in and bit the bullet and started to try on wigs.  They were great and I knew they were in the area gay bars and the like were at so figured they would be ok with Cross-dressers.  They helped me start and left me alone to do my thing and then helped me with other items I may need.  I was not dressed as Sara so I had to imagine how it would look why I have not 5 wigs LOL.  As for makeup I watched a lot of You Tube videos from GG and TG ladies and I read a lot of forums such as you find here.  Then I knew what to buy and have not wasted a lot of money on makeup.

Hi Anna,

Since your just starting out with a wig I suggest you buy a cheap one for starters. Unless you find a wig shop near you that will cater to a CD.   Then you can take your time and choose a wig to suit you.

The problem is you need one to fit your face, head, neck. ears, and usually your hair color.  If you have a small face and long neck a shoulder length may be just what you want.  If you buy online you might end up buying several before you find one that you like once you put it on.  They are either to long or short, curly or straight and you may not like them after you makeup your face and dress.

Amazon has some cheap  ($14 and up) wigs as starters.   Good luck sweetie don't buy an expensive wig until your sure of what you want.

I agree, don't go buying an expensive wig until you know what style and color best fits you. I found out the hard way that long, straight or any dark hair wigs do not look good on me.
