Hi Jane, Teralynn here. Your mum was absolutely right Luv! When I go out dressed most other people are too busy with their own thoughts  and business to pay any attention to me. For the few that do about half of those just smile and I smile back and the rest might give me a weird look in which case I don’t pay any attention to them. Besides I carry a 10,000 volt stun gun that can stop a charging bull moose in case any of them think they might want to get nasty with me. Never mess with a Marine when he is dressed as his feminine persona! Sounds like your day was full of wonderful experiences. - Blessings from Teralynn

Jane, welcome. I used to study psychology a long time ago in another life, and I can tell you research shows most people are oblivious to the details in their surroundings. I haven't been in public yet, but a lot of crossdressers say most folks won't notice you.

A long time music friend of mine, said humans worry thenselves sick about other opinions, and when push comes to shove, an Aussie expression, they say Oh I always let people be themselves. Sounds good, bui a bit of fibbing there. Anyway, my wife is on board now, shopping together, and that is a huge step, and shows the power of love.

Jane the person that needs to be accepting and supportive of a crossdresser the most is the significant other of that crossdresser! Fortunately you and I both have that. So I am doing fine and really don’t worry about whether other people like my dressing or not just as they don’t try to assault me. That’s why I carry the stun gun! It incapacitates rather than kills. I recommend all my family members carry this type of protection because in this day and age the world seems to have gone a little crazy. Whenever you leave the relative safety of your home you just never when you might run into someone who wants to do you harm, especially if you are a crossdressing person. Even in my 70s, I like to feel that I can still find a way to protect myself and my wife when we go into town. Even in the small town we live close to crime numbers have shot up over the past year where they were practically nonexistent in the past. Better safe than sorry! I am not the kind of person that goes to town looking for trouble, but if trouble comes looking for me it may find more than it thought it would find! - Blessings from Teralynn
