@gemmaatlast Hey Gemma, it's really liberating to reveal your girly side isn't it hun? You've obviously had a good look around so you will know that the girls here are at every point on the crossdressing spectrum, so there'll be plenty in a similar situation as you. The need to indulge our feminine side rarely goes away so kudos to you for acknowledging that. You'll find all the support and friendship you need here at CDH so a big welcome to you.

Don't be shy, we love you as you are , we know for sure your feelings and we can say with no doubt, what you did at this moment is one of the first step to be in calm and follow your journey with no regrets

I have only one month here at CDH, and for over one week I wasn't able to write my own history I mean, I know how hard has been for me crossdressing in a third world country, but until I understood this won't go anywhere just with to take a pill like flue or Influenza, no, I have to accept me, my inner female side it is there and I suffered when I couldn't express it. Now after love this part of me I was able to write my story, create my first picture of this inner self I called Odeth and I now I feel in peace, and  full happiness.

Feel free to ask us anything you heart need to know or understand, we have here at CDH the answers to most of this questions.

In the meantime I'd suggest to make friends, I already sent you my request, read the posts and think with calm how to share us your story, we are here like a sisterhood, to support you.

Shy and nervous is quite a normal state for people joining here. 
And yes, it was the strangest feeling when I first typed the words “Hi, I’m Lucy”.

I’m so glad that I did though. Being part of this community has opened up a whole new side to life. 

It’s great that you’ve started to accept this part of you as it’s not something that can be denied forever.

stumbled upon this site and started to read so many stories that sounded so familiar and it’s kind of given some encouragement to begin accepting this part of me.

Hi, Gemma and congratulations on your serendipitous stumble! You've found the best crossdresser community.

You are also spot on with your observations, most of our stories are very similar, and that was something that immediately made me feel safe and at home when I joined. I was, like many others, closely closeted for a l-o-n-g time before I found this second family.

I had never dreamed of sharing my "dark secret" with anyone and then I found this place. Believe me, shame, guilt and purging are now distant memories, and that's entirely due to the genuinely warm, friendly and helpful girls that make CDH what it is. You'll have all the encouragement and support you need, we're always here for each other, celebrating successes and helping through the difficult times.

I looked through a crack in the closet door when I joined, just eight months ago, and with the help of the real friends that I've made here, it's fair to say that these doors have been blown off their hinges! Last week I attended a monthly Trans, crossdresser, etc. event with three friends from here. I spent two whole days wearing the clothes I love and even had a makeup and go experience, the photographic results can be seen in the member photos and my profile pic. Photographs only convey the visual results though, and there are no words to describe my feelings except to say it was life-changing!

Yes, this community can and does change lives, as much or as little as you wish.

@gemmaatlast Hi Gemma!  I'm sure you will find this to be a safe, welcoming and highly informative place.   Reading about other's experiences has really helped me with my self acceptance and has aided me in getting out in the world as the woman I am.
