Hi everyone!
I've just joined, and am pushing my comfort zone a little by joining. I'm a long time crossdresser, but I've just been starting to actually put myself together to be presentable to the public. I'm mostly closeted married crossdresser. My wife generally knows but does not offer any encouragement, which makes it a bit awkward at times.
Another unusual aspect is that we are polyamorous, which means I also have a girlfriend, and she's met my wife multiple times. My GF is very supportive/encouraging and has been my guiding beacon through a lot of my recent advancements, though it's a lot on her at times.
My newest frontier to explore is makeup. I've put on a little bit, and my GF has helped me a lot, but there's a lot that I need to learn, and not a lot of opportunities to learn it.

You have goals for improvement and that should give you the drive to succeed at whatever you want to do with crossdressing. Please, don't stop because I would love to read more of your comments.
Hi, Kelly, welcome to CDH, the warmest, friendliest and most supportive crossdresser community anywhere. I think your comfort zone just got a lot bigger 😊.
Even a quick look around will show how much we love this place and why. We can be ourselves in safety here. This is the first time many of us have spoken to other crossdressers about our "secret" and what a difference it makes to our lives.
@alexisgrace is right, there are loads of makeup videos on YouTube, some even done by guys and they've helped me to improve my efforts. We do have our own tutorial videos too, they can be found here,

@alexina Thank you for the tips! One of my biggest challenges (aside from the general overwhelmed feeling) is finding/getting private time to try makeup. I have teenage kids and have kept this side of myself from them. They would likely be accepting, but I'm not sure when I'll be ready for that. Besides, it's not so much them, but their friend circles beyond them that I'm concerned with.

I was pushing my own comfort zone when I signed up here in July 2023, but it's one of the best decisions I've ever made. It won't take long for you to feel completely at home here. The other girls are wonderful, and it's a very safe and non-judgmental community.
There's lots to explore. Have fun looking around, and if you need help with anything at all then don't be afraid to ask.

Welcome Kelly! Everyone here is so nice and willing to share stories or advice. I feel much better about myself after finding CDH. My wife is supportive, but no one else knows. I wish I could share with more people, but that’s just not in the cards right now.

@jennconn I am lucky to have two loves in my life! There's a lot to poly, and it's not for the feint of heart.
As far as finding someone who would accept this side of you: it's tough to say. One thing with my GF is that she loves Drag Race and going to drag shows. That's not a definitive marker, but it could be an indicator of someone being more accepting of this side of ourselves. Then again, dating scene in general seems to be more difficult in modern times.

Hi, Kelly, nice to see a new Mass. girl! I joined CDH a short while ago and so far it's been well worthwhile. Everyone has been so nice and understanding and encouraging. And np pressure, either, you can go at your own pace.
I belong to the Central Mass Misses group here, and through them I attended a little get together and had a very nice time. I hoping to do more again soon.
