I just want to say hey, I am Amber, I only just chose the name for signing up here. I have not cross dressed really since I was a teen. My siblings loved it when I did, as did I. It really made me feel good. This is my first time posting or really reading about this. So pls don't hurt me if I offend or seem ignorant, I am just looking for my happiness and answers to difficult questions. I an a 52 yo M that has always questioned gender identity and loathed their birth gender. ): I know that this is not normal, I just really don't know what to do about it. I am finally without children at home and I don't know how to talk to them about this. I love women, and I always see myself with women, but OMG I have always wanted to be one!

Hi Amber and Welcome to CDH! Your issue is quite common so I wouldn't be overly concerned about it. Cdh web-site offers a lot of personal experiences and I am certain you will find assistance here. All the girls are very eager to help and answer questions you may have. Do not worry about being "looked down upon"......we are a family of friends and we have all been where you are now. We strive to assist those who have questions and are trying to understand why they are experiencing certain feelings. We all go thru this. Everyday day we get more new members on the same quest to enlightenment. We are here for you sweetie!

Amber welcome your at the right place, to seek the answers to your questions . Many come here lost and confused . As myself when first joining. I was very much closeted and quite shy. Never dressed until last year. Opened to my wife after many years of marriage so for me it has been quite the year. But being here has helped me so much, to try to understanding and by reading many of these beautifully written pieces here allowed me to take hold of all these emotional feeling's and better understand our gender identity . I too am a empty nester and I believe this was one of many reasons to explore just what's happening to me. So being here will definitely help you. Meeting with and making friendships with many of theses amazing ladies who have offer me their advice and most if all a support that I feel is so important and this will help you navigate your journeys through this confusing times.
