Hi everyone
let me introduce myself. My name is Rachael (not Rachel- thanks auto correct). I have know about my female side from a young age, and over time this element of my life has grown. I have come to a point in my life where I feel that I am living a bit of a lie and that not being true to myself is ultimately being dishonest. I would love to reach out and chat to others who have been on the journey of transition. I am currently seeing a councillor about transitioning, (which to be honest scares me, but also give me great warmth). I feel that I am at a cross roads in my life and need additional support in this journey. Being ultimately on my own in this journey is so hard and if any one out there can help me, no matter how small I would love to chat.
big hugs
Rachael
Hi Rachael! I wish you the very best on your journey!
Hi Rachael,
It’s wonderful to meet you! Like yourself and many of us here, I am experiencing my female side becoming stronger with age. It’s to the point now that I feel the need to let Ellie out. So you are most definitely not alone! And the girls on this site will be very supportive.
Hugs and Kind Regards
Ellie Hope
Rachel, welcome , it’s wonderful that you have joined our family. We’re always happy to help our new girls and offer our advice and tips and were here to chat about anything you have on your mind. Sharing experiences is so helpful and fun to explore more as you get comfortable with being here. Very nice meeting you and the best to you on your transitioning looking forward.

There are a great many ladies here - and we're all here for you.
It's like having your own private army of counsellors, mostly trained by direct experience.
Love Laura
Hi Rachael,

Welcome Rachael!
Hi everyone
Thank you for all your very kind words. Having an outlet to discuss is really helpful.
I know I am not the first or the last but my main issue is that of my relationship with my partner, and kids. I love them all dearly and never want to hurt them, but knowing that my feminine side is getting stronger is making things oh so difficult. Having now been with my councillor it is clear that this is my “wall” to transition. I know that if I was single I would be well on my way or if not already transitioned. I don’t want to impact their lives with my own situation, but on the other hand I don’t want to live a lie and let them live in it too. Wow this is so hard.
My councillor said in our recent session that I should create a transition timeline of all the steps I want to take and rank them in order of time. Can I ask, have any of you girls done the same and if so did you find it helpful?
thanks once again for allowing me an outlet to discuss my situation

Hi Rachael , so many positives here on CDH , hope you get to enjoy yourself xx Tiff
I'm from Australia also ☺
Hey Rachael,
You have come to the right place. I have only been here a week or so and I have to say everyone here is so nice and really helpful. I very recently decided to accept my crossdressing and come out to my wife. She has been fantastic, but I have so many questions and was seeking peer support. there is no peer support group in my community, so I was thrilled when I found CDH.
If you ever want to chat I am here.
all the best on your journey!
