Hello everyone, my name is Allison. I'm a transgender woman in her early forties. I'm here to better understand and share like journeys through life. Finding a few friends wouldn't hurt either. I have not transitioned yet but still feel more woman than man. Its something I have always felt for a long time. I'm more of a tomboy than I'd like to admit, but still loves her makeup and dresses. That's me in a nut shell thanks💋🦈sorry but its 🦈 week!! Oh and I'm a nerd about somethings.

Hi Allison. Welcome to the forum.
I arrived late in finding out my real self.
I was 57 when I went to a costume party dressed as an elegant woman of the 1880's in a beautiful hoop skirt. Since then I have been dressing and acting as a woman. This brought out in me the fact that I was really a woman in a man's body - A transsexual woman.
Hopefully one day I will be able to be a woman full time ( as least dressing as one).
I am now 75 and make a very attractive woman when dress. I pass real well too!
I glad I found out before it is too late.
I too have hidden and denied Marsha existence for 54 years, now that I finally acknowledged her, I know that she is the best of me. Years of depression, substance use and self hatred.... she has erased them. I love myself, I am Marsha... ok gotta say it... Hear me Roar..lol
Love the sisterhood and support on this site. thanks for sharing your story, It means a great deal to this coming out Gurl:)
