Hello hello. I am checking out the site and in search of friendly people nearby for friends or advice. Everyone seems really nice when I read the forums. There don't appear to be any events or groups near me.
Or even advice on how I might meet someone near me.
Couple months in on my transition and completely lost on which styles of outfit work for me and absolutely horrible at makeup and it is stressing me out as I slowly develop.
@breibloss hey Brei. So glad you joined us. Same trouble here. Sometimes it feels like there are only girls from uk and us here 😆 🤣 all lovely girls tho. If i can help with online outfit discussions i would love to. Its one of my favorite passtimes ❤️ Also, so brave your transitioning! That must have been quiet the journey!

@crazycynthia Thank you very much. Long time coming and I haven't told anyone except my doctor so far. Most people haven't noticed yet but a few have as the changes are relatively minimal so far.
I might take you up on the outfit discussions. That will mean putting photo's online though won't it?
@breibloss i have not posted photos online yet either. Im scared yet excited at the same time. Lets just see where it leads. Im wondering, what are the major things you notice when you start transition?
@crazycynthia Apparently it is different depending on who you are.
For me in the first three months I have more weight on my lower backup to the top of my hips, not yet expanding sideways.
Much softer skin and much less oily on the face, not dry just not oily.
My cheeks have gone from a little indented to full and on the cheekbone it has gotten fuller and widened my face so overall my face is a healthier and rounder look.
My legs upper and lower now have a layer of fat eliminating much of the muscle definition but haven't increased in size much at all so I suspect the muscle is shrinking.
My upper arms are losing that upside down v of muscle definition.
My fingers no longer have knuckles that stick out to the side a little.
And my chest has gone from skin over a thin layer of muscle to having breasts that are coming in like maybe an a cup but being farther to the side makes them look smaller. So still easy to disguise as I am not "out" yet with a simple sports bra.
Overall it is much more than I expected in this time frame. And all subtle enough that only a few have actually noticed so far. This is definitely not identical to what every girl experiences in transition over three months. Everyone varies. And there are other explicit changes too.
Fat distribution and muscle loss is a lot of what E actually does.
My current aim is to beat the hormones and be able to go out confident and looking good when they make it too hard to hide.
Fingers crossed.
So in three months I am at the point where sometimes I think I see myself in the mirror, then it vanishes.

I sympathise with your makeup struggles. I'm trying to get a lot of practice in with my own efforts at the moment, and I finally feel as though I'm making progress!

@ellyd22 Thankyou. Yes I have tried the friend finder and in my entire state there are very few that are active. But here is hoping.
Am I posting this correctly? There are two reply boxes So I am not sure what the difference is between them.

If you click on the 'Reply' button on someone's post (as I've done here) you're replying directly to their message and it copies them in. It's useful for having conversations within conversations (i.e. maintaining sub-threads within the main thread).
If you opt to type something in the 'reply' box at the end of a thread, then your message will be added to the end of the thread as well.

@lizzy89 Thanks. Yea I am noticing people are more than happy to help. Getting back down to a 28 inch waist will likely make a lot more outfits look good. I am very straight down the sides which is a problem I expect many girls here have. I have no idea other than an A shape dress to compensate.
I don't want to resort to silicone pads for anything.
Everything I try even A shape in different materials ruffled, textured or flat doesn't make me feel spot on when I look in the mirror. I guess you could call it dysphoric.
