Hello Eleanor,

That is good news. My congraltulations for not rejecting your SO CDer. You've rendered him a great service in opening up for talking and understanding. I can very well imagine how difficult it must have been at first, but talking solved a great lot after all. Keep it up, dear, and ask us anything. All we can do to help...

Hug,

Catarina

Eleanor,

I’m very glad to read that things have worked out in your relationship.

One thing I want to say that I know is different in every case (depending on so many different factors), is that that for many couples where the wife or the girlfriend is accepting, after a while, the couple tends to start getting isolated from some friends and/or family (usually those who can’t tolerate crossdressing) and that most vacation time ends up being dedicated to it, to travel and meet cding friends, etc.

It is not a bad thing in itself and may make life great for both. But one of the most important things in life is balance. So, you should be able to keep your current friends, and have “mom & dad & kids vacations”. I hope that this is making sense. Life is so much more than only what is related to crossdressing.

Best for you two,

Gaby

Hi Eleanor,  happy to hear that for you and your SO.  Communication is so key, my wife and I continue to check in with each to make sure that we know what is on each other's mind.  Funny thing with this aspect of our lives we do pretty darn well.  So keep on working together!  hugs, Michelle
