Hi,
I always wanted to try crossdressing, but never had the opportunity. I am Married with three children. I went away on a business trip for a month and explored cross dressing. This included a lot of shopping and going out dressed up to accepting bars. I really enjoyed the experience and would like to explore this part of me more. I came home and told my wife. We are looking for couples support groups, whether in person or online, and hoping that we can find support on this site.

CDH is not a support group in the professional manner which you may be looking for, but we can certainly help you with the day-to-day experiences, etc. Please take some time to fill in your profile, too. It may help us when advising you, in the future.

I came up with that name on the fly.. It's combination of both my wife's name and mine, since we will both be using this site together. I will certainly add more information to my profile. CDH is our first step online, hopefully it is a good start for us in the challenges that we face. We had already tried private counseling immediately, but now feel we need to connect with couples like us to help us through this..

As a new sister and family member you are welcomed with open arms into our home as well as yours now also.. Congrats to you both for having the courage to seek help also if wife would be interested here on CDH is a group for wifes to join and learn from others called (For Wifes and Significant others )Lots of supportive wifes there for her to chat with and ask questions of .. We cant go there just for them .. Good luck girlfriend take your time and talk lots it helps..

We're trying to work through it for sure. We immediately went to therapy, but we now feel we need to connect with couples going through, or have gone through, the same as us. CDH is the first online resource we have looked into. Hopefully CDH will help us going forward with advice, support, and lead us to other resources.

@dl2023 I feel it’s critical for both of you to have the support and affirmation of others in your respective positions! At a recent event my GF was able to provide that to another’s wife who was lacking that kind of ‘tribe’ and I think it provided her great comfort and a sense of normalcy. May you both find that! 🙂

You must have had tremendous confidence in your wife's willingness to accept your crossdressing so soon after experiencing it for the very first time. It's impressive that you opened up to her straightaway. I'm glad it seems to have gone well for you.

I came back from my trip thinking it wouldn't be a big deal. I also have a good relationship with my wife, so I quickly told her about my experience. Unfortunately, she is struggling with it. We immediately went to professional therapy, but we feel we need to connect with couples like us. We are trying to find online resources to help us through this. Cross Dresser Heaven is the first place online we have found. We're hoping to find the advice and support we need here or anywhere else online.
