Hi Monique.  Thanks for the reply. Are you braving the cold and getting out?  I joined the St Paul YWCA a few weeks ago and now go there every day, except Sunday, for swimming and core exercise.  What a wonderful feeling it is finally being totally accepted by women changing in the locker room.  I no longer have to ask myself 'do I pass?  In what part of Minnesota do you reside?  Have a great weekend and I hope to chat again

Hi, thanks for the reply.  I am an avid bread baker looking for the ultimate soft bread, I have 4 outdoor grills/BBQ  setups all using wood, and enjoy experimenting with new tastes recipes.  How about you?  Do you have a ' go-to ' no-fail recipe?  I hope to chat more.  Thanks for the reply and hava a wonderful weekend.

It must be hard to go out in drab as well! I lived in Sweden for a few years and worked outside in -25C through winter. The good thing was that everything was frozen so it was a dry cold and we had very few blizzard days!
It's 25 C here in NZ and it's great weather to out in a summer dress!

I'm a cook and have been a pro chef. Started life as a baker while doing my degree part-time and progressed from there. There are two jobs one can find around the world if travelling... building and cooking!

Hi Polly, thanks for the reply.  I have a way to get out to a fun, distracting destination.  I joined the YWCA in St Paul, MN because they have a swimming pool and fitness equipment.  I look forward every day to visiting them -20 or not ... they are 6 min away.  Have an awesome weekend and hope to chat again.

I've been binge-watching The Great British Baking Show on Netflix. Just got one of Paul Hollywood's books. I'm going to make two recipes from it for Sunday dinner, Moroccan pasties and spiced coffee and date cake.
