Hello everyone,
I just got myself signed in here. I'm getting up there, but lately I've gotten more daring with my dressing and I need to find ways to go out and about while dressed. Early this year I went for several nights drives while dressed. We had a late winter warm spell and I ended up out on my balcony taking selfies while modeling some of my outfits. I'll be posting a few soon.
My next major mission is to dress up for Halloween. I'm all my years, I never dressed as a girl for Halloween. I've got stuff on order for my outfit, (hope it all fits!) and I'm looking for a suitable event in the central) southern New England region. I do know of one but it's not exactly on Halloween and it's a three hour drive, but right now it looks like my only option. I'm wondering if Salem, Mass on Halloween night might be doable too.
That's it for now, but I'll be stirring around.

@rayna Hey Rayna, you're very welcome hun. I can't help you with trips out and about as I'm on the other side of the pond. You've just joined the best, most friendly and supportive site on the net. You'll get nothing but affirmation here. Somewhere there's an option to find girls near you but I can never find it 😂. One of the other girls will help. Hi Chrissie, thanks for writing. I'd like to share some things about myself but it's an awfully long story.
For now, I'll just say that I've had a recent reoccurrence of the desire to dress up. It has hit me in a big way this time, and I've been dressing more often and for longer periods of time lately. And taking more risks, like the going out driving at night and such.
One thing has occurred to me, I'm tired of dressing up alone. I've never been to a dedicated crossdressing gathering. I want to get out there and have a little fun with this instead of hiding myself at home.
I doubt I could ever truly "pass" because of my body size. No amount of treatment or surgery can help that, but I'm not thinking of transitioning in any case. Most of the time, I'm a guy who likes being a guy. It's just that I have this feminine alter ego that has grown rather powerful in recent years. I have to find an outlet, hopefully one day find the right balance between my two selves.
And I plan to have some fun with it.

@rayna Hey Rayna, most of our stories are long honey. Stick around here and there'll be plenty of time to share yours. There's no rush. It's often been noted here that the need to dress tends to increase as we get older. That's certainly the case with me. Yes, crossdressing can be a lonely existence. I'd actually be comfortable with that, but I currently don't really have any opportunity to slip into a nice dress 😢. Yeah, I'm pretty much just a guy who would like to spend some time en femme. That's cool. We just all need to find a path that we're comfortable with, and being an active member of CDH will help you on that journey.

Hi, thanks for another warm welcome. I'm just barely getting started here, but I've been dressing up as chances permit for long time. I'm still living a dual life but managing it well enough. Although, my wardrobe has been expanding rapidly lately. Ironic that it should happen at this stage of my life, but something inside me just feels good when I get dressed, and I want to feel more.
I could write volumes about how I got started, how I continued, how I tried to quit many times only to have the desire return even more powerfully than the last It's been one long strange trip, all right. And that's just a small part of my story. My life as a guy has been chock full of adventure.
I'll be stirring around here in the coming days. Eventually, I'll tell the whole story. I'll be updating my profile too, stay tuned.

@aliceunderwire Thanks for the heads up. That creates some logistical difficulties but hopefully not insurmountable. I was hoping bro find a place to change fairly close to the actin so I'm not spending a lot of time going to and from fully dressed. We'll see. But "Witch City" seems like a good place to go.

You’ll find Salem to be packed with visitors on Halloween. Hence, the downtown parking cordoned off by the local police. And recommendations to take public transportation. After you find a hotel you could take an Uber.

@aliceunderwire That would be an expensive day removed link I was thinking of taking the full day and the day after off from work too, Salem is a bit of a drive for me.
Fortunately, I found an event closer to home on the 26th so I might not have to do Salem.

I too know that pull from the feminine side! It is quite powerful, indeed. Sandie is very strong.
Sandie went through some of what you mentioned, before making peace, with her male half. Sandie tried to purge, but each time her pull got even stronger, as you yourself experienced.
Now Sandie and her male half have come to a point of acceptance. Both sides coexist peacefully now.

It is very common to find that the dressing urge ebbs and flows but when we age it does become stronger. From what you say you have dipped your toe in areas to find where you fit.
