My interest in wearing feminine clothing goes back to at least middle school. I remember sneaking into my mom's an sisters' rooms when I was home alone to try on bras, panties, and dresses. When I was able to drive myself, I moved on to buying my own panties, but never anything more. I regularly went through the binge-purge cycle at that time.
After I left for college, my crossdressing basically dried up. In part, it was because I had little access. Since I was living on campus, had no need for a car, and parking passes were not cheap, I'd left my car at home. For some reason I was never able to put my finger on, I didn't really have the urge to dress, either.
A few years later, I found a wonderful woman and we were married. As I'm sure many couples do, we spent some days at home with nary a stitch. On one such day, I was laying in bed on my stomach, when my wife walked in with a load of laundry fresh from the dryer - a load she promptly dumped on me.
As she cleared the clothes off of me, there was a pair of panties left laying across my rear. Playful inspiration struck, and she grabbed the panties and pulled them up my legs. I didn't even have them on for a minute, but it was too late; my crossdressing urges were back.
A few days later, I built up the courage to tell her I had liked wearing her panties. I told her that they were comfortable, and they had given me a sense of intimacy. We talked about it, and she started letting me wear her panties to work on some days. That went on for a year or two, but slowed again when we started having kids and my urges faded once more.
About ten years went by without my doing any crossdressing, and then my urges came back stronger then I ever remember having them. After going through a month of secretly buying and wearing panties, I resolved that I would talk to my wife about it.
I threw out the few panties I had gathered, because I felt guilty that they were a secret, and then approached my wife about my crossdressing desires. I told her, honestly, that I didn't know how far I wanted to go, but that I definitely wanted to wear panties. We talked through and studied answers to her questions, and she agreed to join me as I discover myself.
My wife has been great. She sometimes comes home from shopping with a new nightie, skirt, or panties for me. Most days, she picks out my panties for me. Most nights, we cuddle wearing our nighties. A couple weeks ago, she bought me my first teddy.
I currently have no interest in trying to go out dressed. I have a beard that my wife and I enjoy. If I shaved, I might be able to pass, but I have little interest in passing. I simply enjoy wearing what is comfortable for me.
