Hello! I'm Tanya from Cobb County GA. I've been dressing on and off since I was a kid. I'm 51, married with two very young kids. The mrs knows that I desire to dress but does not want anything to do with it. We've been to therapy and much to my wife's shock, the therapist says there is nothing wrong with crossdressing as long as I'm not doing anything immoral along with it. As such, she advised us to figure out a way to live with this pervasive issue in our lives. So, I can keep my stash and dress when they are not around, which is never enough, but it's a compromise I willingly make to honor my commitment to my wife and family.
Over the past two years I've really got a bug up my butt to maximize my dressing opportunities and that has included (shockingly) taking pics. I have like just too many pics out on flickr, but it has helped me to hone in what areas I feel the need to improve on.
I should make a separate post about this, but I'll float it here as well - I'm going to have numerous days and nights alone this summer and I want to get out! I've been a member of a Tri-Ess chapter in IA back in 2003-2004, but that was only meeting at someones house. I am pondering the whats, wheres and when of getting out and about. My main goal is building confidence and not sticking out like a sore thumb. My biggest need to make that happen is makeup, but I'm sure I can do at least OK to lurk in the shadows - ha!
I look forward to making friends here. Perhaps we've bumped into each other on Flickr already, my name over there is Tanya Jolie.
Hugs!
Tanya welcome to CDH and it is great to see you here. I to love to take pictures to see what i can and can not improve. It helps to be able to look from an outside prospective. I think you will find many of the ladies are friendly and great to get to know. Say hello I would love to compare notes.
