Welcome Nick!
Hi Nick.
Welcome. The thing about make-up is that all of us, without exception, and that includes GG, had to put make-up on for the first time, and all of us will have made a hash of it. We have all learned as we went along, got hints from others, etc. So don't be shy, just ask. Asking a "stupid" question is less embarrasing than hearing the "whispered" comments behind you.
But remember to enjoy the learning process.
Hugs, Sian x
Nick, welcome to CDH. Make up is quite an art to get right! My first attempts were pretty bad too, so much so I didn't try it again for a while. I'm sure as you practice, you'll get better at it.

Hi Nick,
Welcome to CDH.

Hi Nick, Teralynn here. If you are looking for makeup tips or any other crossdressing tips you have come to the right place. Although it might not be as good as someone sitting right by your side while you do it, the fact is there is a lot of expertise that some of our members have when it comes to putting on makeup. You already received some good advice from Sian and that was just based on your introduction post. I would like to add that there’s no substitute for just spending some time in front of a mirror trying different looks until you find “your” look. I don’t wear a lot of makeup, but it only takes a little for me to be satisfied with my look. So reach out to our members, ask questions, and I’ll bet you get all the help you need. If I can ever be of service please feel free to contact me through this site and let me know how I can help. A post on my home profile page will get the fastest response. - Blessings
Hey Nick,
I just started doing my makeup. I decided to focus on getting my eyes right, starting with something classic and subtle. I found a few good tutorials on YouTube that were a lot of help. I also went to Sephora to get colour matched for foundation. They gave me a bag of free samples of foundation and consealer.
I think the best single piece of advice I have seen it that less is more. I think this is particularly pertainant when learning.
Today was my first time doing a full makeup job on my self, I was pleasantly surprised with how it came out, I can see the potential!
