Hi there I am new here.
I have cross dressed sporadically throughout my life more so as a hobby of mine or simply because I like certain clothes that are supposedly exclusive to women. My views on crossdressing are a tad different from the norm as I just see this as wearing clothes and nothing more. As a man I use the simple fact of being a man to do what I want as I don't really care about others opinions on my activities.
For the wives of cross dressers in here I would like to say that I am 100% straight and have never once thought about crossing that line. As far as my dressing goes is by myself and have no desire to force anyone to acclimate to what I do on my spare time occasionally.
I feel that many ignore the social impact that this could have on their lives especially if you have a job. In my industry they do nothing but gossip and spread rumors which damages your chances at promotions and other job opportunities. For that reason I have no desire to be public with my dressing to friends, families or partners.

Welcome to the site , hope you have fun exploring. You may find that you are not so different from the norm. There are many here who are straight and see cross dressing as simply being allowed to wear what we want to wear, whether from menswear or womenswear departments, or make up etc. We just want to be able to enjoy everything women can! Equality. It’s only clothing, why shouldn’t we be able to look how we want to look without being judged.
It is so frustrating that societal norms, preconceptions and expectations can lead to us being judged as ‘deviant’ in some way.

Hi Pyro, Teralynn here. Welcome to our merry band of crossdressing people! Please forgive my tardiness in sending you this welcoming post. We have recently had an explosion of new members and frankly there are only so many hours in a day. Real interesting name you have chosen. I must admit that my first reaction when reading the notification that we had a new introduction post from a member named Pyro Pretzel I thought “I hope this person is not making fun or trivializing the crossdressing experience. I am a pretty conservative and spiritual girl that does not like to criticize or make fun of other people’s choices, but when someone makes fun of others in a mean spirited way, I can’t help but speak up! How delighted I was after reading your post to find that you are a crossdressing person just like us but haven’t taken it as far as a lot of us have, and you are absolutely right that some of us because of our marital, parental and occupational situation have to limit our crossdressing experience. We have plenty of members who do it just because they love wearing the clothes and have no other reason. You seem to have a no nonsense logical reason for why you crossdress and if we had more crossdressing people who developed that kind of understanding and attitude there would be a lot less crossdressers suffering from feelings of guilt and shame.
