New to the site, I started wearing women's panties and stockings at age 5, they felt so soft against my skin, I've locked this desire away until recently, I'm 50 and am comfortable opening up about my desires, I'm at a loss as to where to start, or even how far I want to take my desires. Opening up is the first hurdle, I'm comfortable in women's clothing, it feels amazing and naughty. I have a close lady friend (we were romantically involved in the past but just friends now) I just came out to her last night she is the only person u feel I can trust at this point. It was an amazing feeling letting the proverbial cat out of the bag with her. She expressed interest in assisting me my look, which I don't have at this point, as I have never considered anything beyond dressing in women's clothing. Finding myself within is definitely a challenge especially overcoming the fear of bieng found out.

Hi Sasha, welcome! Many of us have a similar story. Pushed away the feelings or desires for decades and finally choosing to accept them. For me it was at age 55. Like you, I had nothing in the way of wardrobe or makeup. That was less that a yea ago. Now I have a fairly extensive wardrobe, breast forms and a makeup bag that make my wife envious! I'm so happy for you that you have a GG (Genetic Girl) who is willing to help you. My wife is very supportive but I learned a lot on my own before I came out to her. You'll go through highs and lows and i have purged on more than one occasion...got rid of clothing deleted pics and cut my hair..always with regret.
Recently i outed to my twenty year old daughter which took some courage. It went fantascally and when she met Me fully dressed it was like making a new friend.
It has actually got me to take a new step forward as Claire.
Yes i am definitely still two identities..my male persona is a strong mtbing/do all and my male friends and family would certainly not accept Claire.
So although I'm happy to have the acceptance of my wife and daughter.
The secret fem side can get lonly.

There are a number of us "Late Bloomers" here! I also have just started and am still sorting out the whole new world. I have had a lot of internal ups and downs. Best advice so far, Don't compare yourself to others. Compare yourself today to yourself yesterday. Do you feel a little better about yourself today? Is your makeup better today than yesterday? Slow down and give yourself a chance at your own speed! There are many roads that lead to our desired destination.
All the ladies here are super supportive and helpful. Don't be afraid to ask what may seem a stupid question. I have and everyone is very patient with me!
