Hello all,

I’m Lila Gaye.  I just discovered my alternative name yesterday as I joined this group.

I am a gay man, partnered for last 15years. Prior I was married to a women and we had two kids. My wife died in 2001 and shortly after that I moved to Arizona with my then 10 year old son and two year old daughter. I met my partner soon after and he has helped raise my kids.

My son is now almost 26 and my daughter will be 18 and headed off to college in the fall. My partner and I have always had great communication and about 5 years ago I began exploring life including two polyamorous relationships. Our most recent relationship just ended.

One of my explorations has been the leather community and in that I competed and became Southwest Leather Cub in 2016.  As a result of that I began being involved with the greater LGBTQ community. One of the events I created as a fundraiser for a charity was Blurred Lines - A Gender Bent Fashion show.  I had people create and model outfits that blurred the lines of gender as they saw it or experienced it.

This ultimately led me to my own personal cross dressing journey. The biggest uniqueness for me is that even when I cross dress I don’t want to lose my masculine qualities, in particular my beard and body hair but my journey has begun to include more feminine expressions such as breasts.

I bought my first heels with my daughter!  Also my partner has been completely supportive of my exploration. I often go out dressed including the mall and out to eat.
