Hi everyone, I’m Jenny – 40, from the UK. I was here before, but deleted my profile during a moment of shame and self-doubt. I know I’m not alone in feeling that way sometimes. But dressing is a part of me I keep coming back to – and this time, I’m hoping to stay a little longer.
I’ve been dressing for years and came out to my wife about six years ago. To my amazement, she embraced it – even bought me my first pair of lace panties – and has supported me ever since. I mostly dress when I have the house to myself, but occasionally we share a quiet evening with me as Jenny, which I love .
I’m back to reconnect, meet others on a similar path, and maybe find some old friends again. If you remember me – or just feel like saying hi – I’d love to hear from you.

@jennyinlace Aw, bless you. Yes, you are right it does, but I know that unwittingly suppressing my desires for decades caused far worse problems for me than putting on some lipstick and eye shadows d a pair of lacy drawers ever could have caused.
since joining CDH about ten days ago, I have been thinking about that stigma, and I really can’t fathom it.
Think we spoke before and when I lived up in Chesham thirty plus years back I went through a number of cycles that ended in purging. Sad. But I get it, honey.

Chrissie, you absolute gem – yes! I thought I recognised your name but wasn’t sure with the new profile pic (which is fabulous, by the way!).
I really felt what you said about suppression doing far more harm than a bit of lippy and lace ever could. I’ve had my own cycles too – including a few dramatic purges and emotional spirals. It’s comforting (and heartbreaking) how many of us share that pattern.
CDH does feel like a little oasis where Jenny can chat with people as herself! I’m glad we both found our way back here. Maybe this time we’ll stick around a little longer, together.

Ooh, a makeover sounds like such a fun idea, I’d love to do something like that one day too! And I totally get what you mean about finding the right wig style… it makes such a difference, doesn’t it?
I’ve been thinking about getting another wig myself – maybe a brunette version of the style I’ve already got. Something familiar, but with a little twist! We’ll both be hair shopping, it seems 😄

I get how scary it can be. I got lucky with my wife, though to a lesser degree: She's okay with Shannon so long as she doesn't have to see her. (Maybe that will change someday, but I refuse to push her.)

I totally understand your situation too… just knowing your partner is okay with this side of you, even if it’s behind the scenes, is still a huge thing. And you’re right not to push – everyone needs to find their own comfort level, in their own time.

Hi, Jenny, and welcome home! No matte where we fall on the CD/TG spectrum, most of us have those periods of guilt and self-doubt. At some point, though, we realize that all of this is who we are. I'm so happy that your wife has embraced Jenny. Life is so much easier and better when that happens. I'm blessed that my wife has embraced my transition.
