I'm Chery and a recent new member. Originally from NJ now residing in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. I'm a "mature" lady. I'll be 75 in a few weeks. Been dressing since I can remember. I believe I began at about age 5 and never looked back.
I'm lucky to have an understanding and fully supportive spouse. She and I do everything together and this is no different. We share everything about this including clothes and makeup and I'm so blessed to have her and her support. I'm not out to family and friends, but that doesn't stop me from living. Now retired I spend most of my time dressed and we go out frequently.
The only bad thing that has happened is we seem to have moved to a CD desert. In NJ we had 3 support groups that we could attend and we were regulars at 2 of them for a number of years. I can't seem to find any within a decent distance as most seem to be 2-3 hours away and that's just a bit much anymore. I'm hoping to make some new friends and who knows, maybe even meet some. I'm on Crossdressers.com as well and have been for about 20 years.

@cherylt Welcome! Im happy that your owners raised you to be a non biter. It took me many years with a muzzle to learn that lesson but im safe to approach now especially if you have a cookie. The Poconos is beautiful Im surprised at the limited support there as its largely populated with city folks on vacation but maybe thats the reason. less permanent residents. with all your experience and support, you could definitely start a new group there. glad to have you aboard. Well aware of both. Keystone has always been something I'd like to do but somehow it's always conflicted with other things. Haven't considered Erie as it's quite a way from me.
Also thought about Fantasia Fair on the Cape but it's eluded me so far.
What I'm really looking for is a more local gathering on a regular basis. There are some in Allentown, but again that's a 2 hour drive from me and distance is getting to be too much of late.
