So I was sitting at my computer watching Blindspot on Hulu in the background, searching through some of my favorite websites about dressing tips. I was reading an article about tips for tall girls as I am 6'2" and it is very hard to find certain things that fit me when my wife shows me this website on her tablet.
I decided to go ahead and sign up and "spread my wings". Outside of my wife, step-daughter and a very dear friend in Texas, I can't think of anyone that knows me as Alexandra. I don't think that I will ever tell my extended family. I can only think of one member of my family that would accept this side of me.
I love dressing. My wife fully supports this side of me and has helped me explore everything about my feminine side. I have had short hair most of my life and about 4 years ago, I decide to let my hair grow and it is now to the small of my back. Most days, my nails are painted. I actually went Tuesday and treated myself to a full set of acrylics. It had been over a year since I had them and with winter approaching, it will be easy to "hide" them if I need to do so out in public but most days I don't hide them despite the looks I sometimes get when people see my hands. Most times, I get compliments on my nails which makes me smile. Outside of an odd look here or there, I have shockingly not received any negative comments which amazes me.
Well, that's it for now. I look forward to chatting with everyone.

Hi Alexandra and welcome! How awesome to hear that you have a support wife! And very cool about the nails and hair. I am not sure I want to have long hair again so maybe a pixie cut for me. Glad you joined us here, please check out the thought provoking articles, fabulous forums, groups, & photos. Look forward to chatting with you as well! - hugs, Michelle
Alexandra welcome . So happy to hear another with a wife that truly supportsand certainly does make ones journey most rewarding . And to have her show you our site shows how compassionate she is. Many would would be envy to have that support. Wonderful hearing about your nails, myself I've never done them before but with winter fast approaching I'm going to seriously look into it. And for your hair congrats it's certainly special when one can actually grow their own hair and not be afraid of what others my think. Not many can accomplish this especially when age creeps up but I too am blessed with being able to grow my own hair I started a year ago myself and now she's 3 inches down my back, well all over my ears , I love it love it every minute. Started as a bet with my 3 daughters and is now blooming with no care about how I look. The only problem is what style would work for me Lol!!! . Here much can be found and offerings of freindship always there to make. Mentioned to your wife about a wonderful group we have just for her. ( Wives and significant others ) gg girls only where she has a place to talk and s seek comfort . Help and support for all. That's what makes this a very special place to be. Very happy meeting and enjoy your time here.
