Hello everyone,
Well, a little bit about myself, I have been dressing occasionally since high school but it has been more frequent in the last few years. I haven't been brave enough to go out in public other than to drive around after dark when no one can see me clearly. I am trying to gain experience in applying makeup but it still looks too clownish. Looking to others on makeup advice. Thank you in advance.

Hi Adeline . . . . . welcome aboard the good ship 'CDH;' I've been a member for a couple of days now, and this is the place to be for makeup advice, purchasing clothing & accessories, and just about anything else you might need. The articles / posts, that show up here, are more informative and entertaining--than anything you could read, in any of the other 'ladies magazines' available. Love to you, Tamera

Welcome Adeline to CDH group. You will find the girls more than helpful with regards to make-up application. There are several make-up companies that have web-sites with excellent videos and of course You Tube. My favorite brand L'Oreal Paris will know your socks off....must visit. Don't be a stranger....my door is always open too.

hello and welcome. yes we all are very friendly ladies here and try to help in any way or point u to the right direction. for applying make up i learned by watching wife apply it and then i tried my self, it takes allot of practice that's for sure. yes there are videos out there but most of all its how to apply and do it on your self. i can do OK with eye shadow and mascara and lip stick. but for a 2 tone eye shadow its tough. cover up and foundation well i never tried that just yet. very nice to meet you and welcome u r not alone . i am 54 years old and i started when i had to wear tights in a school play i was hooked. now i but my own on line and in stores
Thank you for all the kind welcomes.
Regards,
Adeline (Ada)
