Hello From Arizona

Good Morning!

I am Rose, a new member. Rose is actually my alter ego when I am en femme. IRL I am a happily married heterosexual male in my mid 40s. My wife IRL, though maybe a bit surprised when I told her, has been accepting of me. In fact my wife IRL gave the name of Rose.

I have been the stereotypical male since my teenage years. I am of a very traditional, conservative, upbringing from the Midwestern USA. The cold of immigrants from India. IRL, I fit the profile of a stereotypical Asian Indian American. I am an engineer. Well educated. I have been married for 18 years, though my wife is from Vietnam, not India. We are both professional, as she is an Accountant. We both have high stress jobs.

What lead to this was something that I realized as an undergraduate all those years ago, but repressed. I liked to crossdress, but initially did it as a joke. I managed to repress it all of these years, until coronavirus occurred, and I was asked to work remotely. I guess the stress got to me, and one recent weekend, while talking with my wife, I let her know of this.

I think she had an inkling all these years.  My wife and I have a close, stable, happy, honest, relationship. Since 2019, both of us have been focusing on health and our relationship. We have gotten closer. Regarding my health, I finally got a few things managed, and my wife likewise.

Being cooped up at home allowed me to be comfortable and tell my wife my desire to crossdress at home. She smiled and told me she would help me get a wardrobe and teach me makeup. That is what brought me here.

Right now it's between my wife and I. I know my family, and her's, would call this strange, and be alarmed. Will take it for what it's worth. I will be careful for my own safety, and Rose is intermittent. My wife still wants her husband around her also.
