Hi, my name is Samii and I have joined the site today. I've been away from dressing for about 10 years due to going through some very difficult times but I have realised that I need this and have come back to this life to try to find myself again. So far I know it has been the right thing to do and I am eager to continue with it.
I've had a brief look round the site and I must say that it looks lovely and as though it is very supportive. I look forward to getting to know people and hopefully make some wonderful friends.
hello and welcome Samii to C.D.H. yes you are right this site is the only place on the web where we can meet others like our self's. i have been with this site for years and love it. , lots of articles and groups to join and read, meet new friends on the way. feel free to read my profile and it will tell my side of my journey, i under dress allot during the winter time it keeps me warm when i am out side, plus i get the feeling of 2 sides. my fem side and my boring male side. i added you to my friends list. have a great day.

I read your profile with interest, it is so sad that your Wife doesn't share your enthusiasm for this life. I understand what you mean about being dressed helping fend off depression, it was exactly the same for me. I could feel my mood getting worse and worse but it took me a long time to realise that this returning to this is what I needed. Since I returned I have found my old spark again and am much more my old self, all I need now is to get my ability to present myself back to the level of where I want it to be.
It was lovely to hear from you and I look forward to chatting some more and learning more about you.

Samii happy to meet you and happy you have joined our family here at cdh. coming back to these desires is something I too experience as the feelings did overwhelmed me and I knew I'm being drawn back to a love of dressing. Many years have gone by and just telling my wife after so many years of marriage was very difficult and I knew that in time she would eventually find out so revealing this as hard as it was would be a game changer and it was but with our talks, her guidelines her acceptance began to happen and now Stephanie has become part of our lives . She still quite cautious so I never overstep my bounds. Hopefully in time will take the big leap and venture out. My wife has said when we're both ready that may happen . So I'm a girl in waiting but patient. Here we are very supportive and willing to help in anyway that's needed . Make friends as many here love to meet and share a story or two. Hi Stephanie, thank you for your welcome. It was lovely to see that your Wife is doing what she can to be supportive of you, it can be so difficult for the other person in your life to have to come to terms with but it can be so rewarding if you are able to share it together. I hope it develops as you wish and you can both have wonderful experiences. It isn't something I have had to deal with thankfully and now I'm hoping I never will have to.
I have been very impressed with what I have seen so far and already I have started to make friends which is exactly what I was hoping for. Thank you also for the offer of advice for the future, I will let you know when anything comes up.
