If I’m doing this correctly this is my introduction. Long story short I’m 70 and pleasantly retired and very happily married. I have dealt with my inner girl on and off my entire life (mom’s things when a boy, etc.).
She was absent during large periods of time such as college, but I’ve been through the purchase and purge cycle many times. Now, I have the freedom to enjoy her when she wants to play with me and am just not going to guilt and shame myself any more. This is private, largely played out in my head, hurts no one, and gives me great pleasure and relaxation. I’m very subtle and not flamboyant at all. When she’s sharing space in my head I am more caring and loving and more affectionate with my wife. I’m lucky.
I am so glad I found this resource. Until now never able to get this stuff out and in open and safe discussions.
@mygurl Well Joan, there's not really any right or wrong way. But it's a beautiful introduction. You should consider yourself very lucky to have alighted here, as it's the most supportive site you'll find. Not to mention very safe.
A lot of us have been off and on. For me it all came rushing back at the age of 64 after a long hiatus. If not now then when? You sound very comfortable with your feminine side now. Good for you girl. You can make such wonderful connections and friends here so make yourself at home and share a little. We'd love to know a bit more about you.

I see you joined the Central Mass Misses group the other day. There's a meetup planned in Marlboro, MA for June 6th of you're up for it.
I joined this website last September and I'm very happy with it so far. I've had lots of fun chatting and sharing photos and stuff. This is a very active and vibrant community and you can almost always find someone to share a story with.
