Hello, I just wanted to introduce myself to you all, I’m Emily.
I joined this site over a year ago but couldn’t build up the courage to make friends and interact. But here I am now!! I’m in my late twenties and have been dressing forever, but only in secret or under my clothes (aside from some nice interactions with salesgirls and fellow shoppers).
Is anyone else finding this time difficult? I’m married and cross dress in secret, so have been going cold turkey for over a month now. Really missing the freedom and feeling of femininity that I get from shopping and dressing out in the world. Anyone else feel the same?
Would love to make friends and hear your stories!
Em x
Hi Emily,
For me it's just a short time I started dressing but yes I do mis it so much can't wait that the world is getting a bit normal again.
Stay safe
Renske.
Hi Emily,
In exactly the same situation as you. Thankfully, I went for a makeover the day before the lockdown, so the memory of that will have the last me for a couple of months at least! Patience my dear! Happy to chat any time.

Hi Emily,
Welcome, it is lovely to see another UK girl on here.
I think a lot of us are feeling the constraints of the lockdown and will look forward to having more freedom to dress.
I always happy to chat so please feel free to get in touch, it is great to exchange stories and experiences.

Welcome Emily!
Hi Emily I kinda know how you feel Ive never went out dressed and probably never get the chance. I live ina very small community with kids and grandkids close to me here , Im out of closet but not out of home my wife knows and supports to her limits which are getting better ive dressed off and on since child hood now 58 many years of girly fun but at home hopefully for you it will get better . This virus will go away some day and all of girls can and will go back to a normal life as the girls we love to be just hold on . Dress up a little at home at least for a little while it does help thanks .Stephanie

Not too worry we totally understand you. With this unfortunate times we are experiencing many who have to hid their dressing and for those it must be extremely painful. Wanted to open up the true spirit of one’s self but It does draw tears not being able to enjoy true satisfaction in having the freedoms we once enjoyed.
A least having a wonderful and supportive place like this certainly helps relieve much of the stress and hopefully with everyone behaving we can again enjoy being ourselves once again. Meet with many of our ladies here share stories and talk about anything you like. So nice to finally meet you.

Hey Emily! Also struggling with #lockdownstress here, over a month with my wife wfh so zero dressing for me ☹️
It’s great spending time together, and we are at least staying safe and healthy (have to find the positives in these crazy times.....!) Chat soon!

I fully understand. It has been a little over a month for me as well.
This lock down will pass and we will all be able to be out as we wish again soon.
Hugs

Hi Em
Yes definitely missing the shops, and the opportunity to get some retail therapy. I don’t find online shopping as much fun, harder to judge sizes, materials etc.
Just another impact on our lives to try to suppress this virus. Hopefully getting more into this site will help satiate this desire while lockdown persists.
I know London has been particularly hard hit so hope you and your nearest and dearest get through this unscathed. Stay safe my friend and anytime you want to share some fashion chat, experiences of your love of all things feminine, or feelings, post a story, photo, or chat. I’ve sent a friend request if you want talk anytime.

Welcome Emily and thank you,
I was waiting for the silver lining in all this madness, it got you to come out of the shadows so we could meet you.
Happy to have you and hope you've enjoyed reading from so many in the time since you joined, nows your chance to share your thoughts.
Its challenging for all of us in one way or another, certainly shopping is one of them. The hair and nail salons had better be planning on getting extra staff for the week they set us free lol.
Hi Em , you're not alone , especially in difficult days , glad you've got to introduce yourself , enjoy 💐💐
Hi Emily, and welcome.
I was a lurker on the site for a couple of months before posting my first message. It can be a bit scary to reveal ourselves to others, even those who are of a like mind. I think we all miss the joy of shopping, and I'm eager for my next makeover. Chatting with friends here on CDH is one of the few activities available to us at this time, so join in and have fun.
