Hi everyone. I am new to cross dressing as I recently came out to my wife of over 25 years that I am bi and want to explore my desire to crossdress. I have done a little in private but keeping it to myself is very disheartening. To my pleasant surprise, my wife has been more than accepting, even showing me some outfits she thinks will look good on me. I hope to make a lot of new friends here and learning a lot from all of you. I am retired at 55 so I have plenty of time to explore my own fashions. I will post a picture as soon as I get all dolled up.

Thank you Harriette. I plan to participate more. I am reading some of the forums to get an idea of some of the topics. For starters I will probably ask some questions about body waxing and laser treatments. My wife has ordered a body wax kit that appears to be highly recommended. I’m not sure I’m looking forward to it.
@michelle2025 When it comes to hair removal, you have options:
Laser: expensive, permanent, but immediate.
Waxing: quick, can be painful, inexpensive, lasts days, eventually reduces hair. You seem to be familiar with its effects.
Creams: great for surprise Friday night dates.
Commercial IPL: expensive, with good results. IPL is NOT laser light.
Home IPL: inexpensive, painless, effective, but takes time.
Epilator: can be painful, initially, but gets better over time. Kills roots eventually.
There are a few lesser known methods.
What I found to be the least painful, not expensive combination is an IPL wand paired with an epilator. Takes time, but both methods help to kill the hair roots. I had great results become clear at between 12-15 months with focused attention and frequent treatments, quicker in some areas.
It can help to have a patient partner get the hard to reach places.

That is a lot of great advice. I may try the combination of methods you mention next. The idea of killing the roots so they don’t grow back is very appealing.
Wishing you the best. I've never had a partner so I don't know what that's like and I'm 68 so fat chance. Glad your partner is supportive. If I ever find a relationship, Marsha and Ray are a package deal.

Thank you Stephanie. I will share my story in a bit. It’s probably typical, dressed in secret a few times in the wife’s clothes and then came out to her. I was just very fortunate that she is so supportive. It’s funny you mentioned living in Montana. I always wanted to move to Montana upon retiring. Now a year into retirement and looks like we may stay here and just travel as we get a chance.
Welcome, Michelle - it's wonderful to have you here! BTW - I had the opportunity to meet Ms. Sierra in Land O' Lakes the last time I was in the Tampa area. It was a last-minute abbreviated appointment, but she still gave me a quick makeover. She's a sweetheart and a great makeup artist! Please tell her and Ms. Deborah that I said "hello" (I think they'll remember me...LOL!)

Thanks Shawna. I will mention you when I get an appointment set up. My wife is looking at setting up makeovers for both of us at the same time. Apparently Miss Sierra also does makeovers for cis women. This could be interesting with my wife. I can’t wait for the photos in different outfits and wigs. I will post them when done.
