I don’t think of myself as a CD but someone who wants to try feminine things. I have to keep it a secret from my family for now, but I want to explore wearing lipstick and eye shadow. Some clip-on earrings would be nice too. I have started to wear bikini underwear but some panties would be nice.
Can a 61 year old man be a partial CD?
What is the best website for mature men wanting to shop for girly stuff?
There are several sites I use for shopping:
1. Amazon
2. eBay (you can filter preferences on eBay, I like that).
3. Janet’s Closet
These are the sites I use most and have had great luck buying on line.

Hi Rhea,
Welcome to CDH. Sure a 61 year old man can be a partial CD. You can select all that you mentioned and add more as you choose too.
The site has sponsors that carry womens clothing and products you can browse for ideas. Or window shopping can be fun too.

I'm pretty sure you can be ____ near anything you want, girl. I'm 53 and I doll up 3-5x/month - if that's not a part-time CD then I don't know what is. I relish every moment.
However, don't pigeon hole yourself. Be what you want to be now, but leave open the possibility that you don't know what you don't know. If in a month or a year or whatever you want to be more or less, then be that. 😉
YOLO 😉
HiRhea,
Welcome to CDH. I’m new too.

Of course you can Rhea and age is no barrier. You don't need specialist shops to buy from as any retailer selling things for women are good for crossdressers too and cheaper than the 'specialists'.

It's never too late to start CD'ing and you can get whatever you need by going to stores like Kohl's, Macy's, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Ulta and Sephora. CD's frequently shop at stores like these to get all they need. Amazon is occasionally useful as well.
I've just started dressing (at home) and I am 70 in August so age has not been a barrier to me.
I don't know if you can use them in the States but here in the UK, Temu, a Chinese company, do tons of stuff in all shapes and sizes and really, really cheap (I try not to think about why it is so cheap). I have bought dresses, shoes, tops and jewellery from them. My wife is always looking at it (she introduced me to Temu) and is constantly showing me things she thinks will look good on me. Sometimes I have to explain that I really have to find my own look but her advice is invaluable for the most part.
I decided to go for my body shape first, with padding, breast forms etc. so that I could know my size for women's clothes. That way you can pick the size you want to be then buy accordingly. It's one advantage to cross dressing over actually being a woman in that today you can be a big-breasted drag queen and tomorrow a demure wall flower as all your 'bits' are exchangeable
Hi Rhea,

I'm a mature crossdresser too I've been dressing most of my life since i was about 8 or 9 years old when i tried my older sister's lingerie on, I'm still in the closet to my family too and I'm a part time crossdresser,
I'm sorry i can't meet up with you for a coffee ☕ I'm on the other side of the pond in the UK, I'm sure there are lots of girls near to where you live who will be happy to meet up with you for a coffee and a chat I'm sure you will find lots of friends on here so if you have any questions just ask and the girls will get back to you X

Hello Rhea, welcome to CDH.
As you'll have gathered, there are lots of us girls of "a certain age" here, so you're definitely not alone. And there are numerous ways of expressing your feminine side. It's fun to explore and experiment, especially as you have the support of your wife, which is lovely.
We love to chat and offer advice. This is a very friendly and understanding sisterhood, so feel free to ask more questions as you continue your own femme journey.
Take care.
Hi Rhea!
Welcome to CDH!
I think you will find the community helpful, encouraging and supportive.
You said, can a 61 year old man be a partial CD.
Of course! Crossdressing is a journey.
I was a partial CD, on again, off again until recently when I went further on my journey to full time crossdresser at home privately.
I have purchased some great clothes from enfemme.com (they advertise on the site so maybe check them out)
Again, welcome to CDH!
