Congratulations on joining the best crossdresser community you'll find anywhere. You'll also find everyone here is genuinely warm, friendly and understanding.

You seem to be pretty settled in your life from what you say in your profile, (totally agree with you about numbers, I'll reach number 70 in April. A year ago I would have been rather perturbed by that thought but 12 months here and I laugh in the face of danger. [Not danger, Allie, age] oh yes.)

But I'm sure you'll benefit from the care and support here and your experience will, I hope, benefit others. As a Borg of my acquaintance might say, we look forward to adding your distinctiveness to our own 😂.

@stella1952 hi Stella, it’s good to have someone here that’s close to my age, although I’m still slightly older than you.  It will be great to get to know you better on CDH, I’m glad you are here.  Maybe we can start our own club of Seprogenerians!

Hello Stella, welcome to CDH from the Cotswolds. There are lots of us in the UK, including some rather closer to you than myself; I am sure some of them will introduce themselves!

This is a really safe, friendly and supportive site. Do get involved and participate, explore the articles, join the forums, dip into the chat room if you wish. It is a great place to make friends. Thanks for the information you have given in your profile; sharing like that helps to build relationships. 

I am a couple of years older than you, though it is only in the last couple of years that I have been able to openly enjoy crossdressing on a regular basis. I think it is wonderful that you were able to do this full time at work.

@stella1952 Hi Stella and welcome to CDH from yet another UK girl.  By the look of it I'm not that far away from you.

Like you, I'm living full-time and out everywhere, including at work.  It's wonderful, isn't it!  I credit this place with giving me the support and encouragement to make those big changes to my life in the last year.  This is a community like no other, and I hope you can make firm friends here the same way that many of us have.  Looking forward to getting to know you more 🙂
