Just joined. I am 39 and in Kentucky (USA). I have tested the waters on dressing for many years, but only in the last few years come to accept I am a crossdresser and want to get better at it. I am in a relationship so will stay closeted. Comes say hey or happy to listen to any tips you may have.
Hello Erin, welcome to the best community for crossdressers. I too am from Kentucky. I'm a little older. Like you I'm mostly in the closet but my wife tolerates my wearing womens clothes occasionally. I wear panties daily under my jeans. I hope you find happiness here!

If you have fully accepted yourself at 39, then you've done it 30 years earlier than me and I congratulate (and envy) you 😊.
Seriously, many of us have struggled to accept the feminine side of ourselves until later in life but this real family has changed lives. You'll find genuine warmth and friendliness here, the girls are lovely.
This is certainly the place to learn and share in your journey, there's loads of experience and you'll have as much support as you need. Just shout out if you need anything.

This is truly the best and safest place on the net for talking about what we do in all its forms. Many of us are closeted for the same reason as you, so you're certainly not alone there.
As for tips, well... where to start? There is so much to know, and the learning never ends. You'll find a lot of experience here, so don't hesitate to ask questions about specifics. Above all, have fun!
@erinstokes I know exactly where your at and let me say this. The bad news is figuring this out with your SO, Significant Other , is going to be a challenge. weather you find they are accepting or not. getting to that point is tough. Try to work it in early in a relationship as it only gets harder and as I have seen here some SOs get resentful that it was hidden from them. The good news is there is so much to explore when your just diving in and im jealous of that. I feel like im always trying to get the same feelings as when I first realized and accepted I was CD and really dug my heels in 😉 . Welcome to the family. Cheers RC
