Hey Ladies,
I'm Charlotte. I've followed Crossdresser Heaven on and off for around 15 years! But never got round to signing up. Well now I have and hope to meet some of you at CDH@LFF in August. Nothing like jumping in at the deep end! I'm very much in the closet at the moment, only dressing in the privacy of my own home, but always liked the idea of taking it outside.
@charlotteheart What is @LFF?. I just joined and have made up my mind I will be permanent for sure. I'm dressing up on Tuesday in the privacy of my bedroom.

A meet up of CDH members in Leeds on 1st August as part of Leeds First Friday event. The main reason I've decided to join CDH! Just over 4 months to prepare and bring more of my femme side back out.

Quick request ... if you haven't already filled in the poll so we can get a clearer idea of how many people to expect, can you do so?
As we move into April we're starting to produce the welcome packs, order badges and so on. A reasonably accurate idea of attendance is essential!

@charlotteheart Hey Charlotte. Welcome to CDH from another UK girl. Good to hear you haven't rushed headlong into our ranks 😂. I like a girl who takes her time. There are plenty of us in the closet and for many it works fine. But not for me 😢. Venturing out sounds exciting. LFF would be perfect for you. Not sure I can make it but we'll see. But you'll find nothing but support, friendship and love amongst the girls here. Also at LFF, if you ask for a big sister. What an absolutely fabulous idea this is. Anyway, lovely to have you with us (finally).

There are a few ways of "taking it outside". There are tons of ideas on CDH about how to do that, but after 15 years here, you should know about some of them. 😁 Go for it!

@alexina You had to signed in to vote the poll which I see as a way of committing myself to going! Plus I wanted to find out more about it, again need to be signed in to comment! Then on top of that I read a recent article which mentioned Rushden Lakes, which is one of my hotspots for a spot of girly shopping, if I want to engage with the article I have to be signed in. @finallyfiona Hey Fiona, yes I've just marked myself as "attending and liking a big sister" on the recent "spot check on numbers" post.
Looking forward it if perhaps a little daunted. I just need to decide now many days to be in Leeds now! Will definitely want to fit some girly shopping in, a museum perhaps and just found they have a History of M&S museum there which is one of my favourite shops for both male and female clothes.

I'm a mature crossdresser I've been dressing most of my life since I was about 8 or 9 years old when I tried my older sisters lingerie on I'm still in the closet too,
I'm a UK girl too I'm in Shropshire, I'm not going to LFF so i won't be able to meet up with you, I'm sure there will be lots of girls there to welcome you to the sisterhood,

@rozalyne Snap, I also started around that age, except I had no sisters to borrow clothes from so had to make do with my Mums (which was much too big), or fashion skirts out of other items, like towels.
I was lucky i had an older sister , the thing is she left home and got married when i was in my mid teens and so went my supply of trendy clothes to wear, I wasn't interested in wearing my mum's clothes and i had 2 younger sisters who weren't developed enough to wear bra's so i stopped for awhile,

@rozalyne Stopped until you were able to start your own stash?! Underwear is something I was never that interested in, then again I didn't make the switch to boxers until I was in my twenties so as far as I was concerned there wasn't much difference unless you wanted a thong, which didn't interest me at the time, I'm not even sure I knew such things existed! I wear knickers now of course, never been keen on a bra though.
@charlotteheart Never been keen on a bra? Shame on you girl! Are you a fraud dear Charlotte? Someone will now remind me that I recently owned up to never having worn panties 😂 xx.
@chrisfp99 Perhaps! Maybe that's why its taken me so long to sign up. I wouldn't say I actually dress that much and I often keen to be comfortable. I seem to like buying the clothes and seeing them on hangers around my house. Almost like I'm surrounding myself with the feminine but not compromising on my comfortable joggers and t-shirt

Yes I've got quite a stash of clothes now, I love wearing bra's they give me more of a womanly figure, I have quite a lot of bra's in all different colours and styles,
