I joined about 10 months ago, after hiding my "guilty secret" for more than 50 years and I'm still astonished at how much my life has changed. I went through the buy-deny-purge-buy cycle more times than I care to remember but not any more.

Since joining this amazing community and embracing my feminine side instead of suppressing her, I'm now happier and more at peace with myself than I've ever been. Because I'm now whole and complete.

If you are here means you are in the right place , I'm straight crossdresser, 47 years old, married about 21 years until now, and you may see in my profile that I also had this same feelings of urge to dress, accumulate clothes and purge everything, the purge finished when I got married, but the urge of crossdressing never disappeared and with the time it is becoming more and more strength.

Everybody here we have a similar story, I started in my childhood, about 6-7 years old , primarily using my sisters clothes and my mom makeup, later when I started the college and I have my own place to live alone, I did it everyday with clothes I got at the thrift shop, nightgowns for sleep and a few underwear,dresses, tops and skirts I got from donations for the Mitch hurricane in 1998, always in private.

Now that I think you know a little more about me, I would say you , you are not alone anymore, here we are gathered many sisters with diverses experiences and goals in life, but we share the love for wearing women's clothes and we are here for give us support each other's.

Feel free to make friends and read as much as you can, this site has a lot of information and wonderful girls willing to help you , try to accepting you and embrace and love yourself by what you are. If is possible post stories about how have been your journey until now and what would you like to go further.

You now have one friend, me, and a sisterhood to support you.

I'll echo Allie's words; this is a wonderful place. I hope you love it here as much as I do.

What you've said in your intro will resonate with many of our members. As you explore the site you'll find that there are lots of girls here with stories very similar to yours.

You're right ... this isn't an easy way to live, but dressing has played a role in shaping and defining each and every one of us.

It isn't something that's going to go away; my philosophy is to lean into it and enjoy it as much as I can.

@mishy I think we all go or have gone thru the on and off its par for the course but , Oh the stories and the day dreaming.  Where would I be if I did  not have that to occupy my mind. Lately its been about showing up for a cruise and being told its women only  where the cruise directors gave me an option to either go home or they give me a full makeover and I Identify as a woman for the week. well Of course I go on the trip .
