Hello,
My name is Stephanie. I am a transgender woman who lives near Salt Lake City, Utah. Only in the last month did i really accept this and realize that i have been in denial my whole life, thinking i simply had a fetish or that my thoughts, urges, and desires weren't meaningful. I am married to a wonderful woman who, since i came out to her, has been as supportive and understanding as could possibly be hoped for, given the circumstances. I have been seeing a therapist who has written a letter recommending that i begin hormone therapy. I am trying to lose some weight before starting, as i know it will be harder to lose my undesired weight once i begin hormones. I am incredibly excited to make these changes and make my exterior better resemble who i am on the inside. While this will be a challenging process, throughout which i hope more than anything to keep my marriage intact, i am strongly looking forward to the future. I am glad to have found a place where i can share this information with others that will hopefully be supportive.

Stephanie ; welcome yes it's a big step you are taking and the best to you. Having your wife by your side definitely helps ,just remember treat her like royalty there are many here that don't have that acceptance. You do have many here offering support for you.
