Hi, my name is Jane and I live in Ireland.I have been dressing up as Jane since I was a teenager and have experienced all the feelings, pleasure, excitement and the guilt that goes with cross-dressing. Wondering is there something wrong with me!! at times I have tried to give it up but I just love it so much that I can’t.

No problem Jane. I know its scary but when I dress I feel so good that all my guilt goes away. I don't know why we feel guilty, we shouldn't because we're doing no harm.
Jane, I am still working through that guilt. With my training, I know that this guilt is a result of early influences, whether with direct feedback from individuals, or a societal norm that said "This is wrong." When I work with people, it's a matter of un-programming the old shame. Let me know if you'd like to chat.
Jane there's nothing wrong with you. These urges are something that I believe is just inside. Feeling all the emotions from a pleasuring experiences to shame, guilt and the embarrassment of why? If it's anything like me I too just can't fight it. Now its becoming a point to accept it and with many here learn to find answers and understand this. Enjoy a good thing ,as I say if it makes one feel free, a calmness and to finally be at ease from pressures around it in every day life it can't be all bad, welcome and the best on your journeys ahead. 🌹

Your story is similar to most of us here, there is no need to feel guilty, but I know only too well it's hard at times to feel anything but guilty. I think it's all about acceptance, when you come to terms fully with the whole you hopefully the feelings of guilt will disappear. Welcome to CDH you will find lots of support here.
