@annarns Hey Anna, a big welcome from me too. I love your name. Whilst I am not religious, I still celebrate ‘namedays’ (it’s a big social thing in Greek society, but I think also in Catholic society). Now I do, I've looked up the date of my annual Ellieday and discovered that it's July 11th 🙂
Celebration plans are already afoot.
An additional bonus of doing the search is that I'd never previously considered the meaning of my name. I've always called myself 'Ellie' without ever thinking about stuff like that.
But ...'Ellie' means, variously, 'sympathy', 'compassion' and 'shining light'.
I'm very, VERY pleased with all of these.

Apparently Lucy means light.
It goes on to say that ‘Lucy is a vintage stunner with endless appeal’.
So basically I’m an old torch……
@ellyd22 The meaning of your name matches you so well, I am really pleased for you. Mine name on the other hand means “follower of Christ”…which unfortunately does not fit me so well. But I guess it could be worse.

@christineth Well, I just learned something.
Firstly, I never knew about namedays (the feast day of a saint after whom a person is named). Harriette's is September 5th.
Secondly, I didn't know Harry / Harriet was a saint.
Thirdly, I knew that Harry was the origin for Harriet, but I thought that both were French. Wrong. Harry / Harriet are Germanic.
@annarns Welcome Anna. You'll find that everyone here are like minded and are active crossdressers, some closeted and some not. Like you, I am still closeted. Finding this site, I have found an accepting family who are willing to help me embosom my desires. Should you have any questions, feel free to ask post them, for you will find that there are many people out there with the same questions/problems that you have. Everyone here has helped me embrace my feelings and not feel bad about myself for them. I'm sure that you shall discover the same.

I'm a mature crossdresser I've been dressing most of my life since i was about 8 or 9 years old when i tried my older sister's lingerie on I'm still in the closet to my family,
I'm sorry i can't meet up with you for a coffee I'm on the other side of the pond in the UK, I'm sure there are lots of girls near to where you live who will be happy to meet up with you for a coffee and a chat I'm sure you will find lots of friends on here so if you have any questions just ask and the girls will get back to you, there are lots of girls on here from beginner's to full time girls who dress 24/7 we don't judge anyone on here it's a safe place for everyone X
