Hi and hello,
I'm new to this site and new to cross dressing. I've never been bold enough to actually cross dress before, and I am hopeful I might get some help or advice here.
My 2 concerns are first of all are other people's reactions, on this when I'm either buying outfits or wearing them.
Secondly I struggle to find decent men's clothes let alone womenswear due to the fact that I am a larger size, not a size 0 as used in modelling but over weight.
So Ladies any help or advice when be much appreciated.

Welcome to the site Daniella.
Let's look at your concerns in order. Other people's reactions will depend on what you are doing. Buying women's clothing, it's a commercial purchase and few sales assistants care what you are buying, and few businesses can afford to reject a sale. Just go buy what you want. If you're worried, you can say it's a gift.
Wearing the clothing is different. The secret is to do the best you can to blend. Don't wear outrageous outfits if you don't want to be noticed. Dress conservatively like women around youir age. Once you build confidence you can experiment.
Clothing size is easy. Get a dressmakers tape measure and measure your hips, waist and chest just under the breast tissue. That will give you the basic measurements. Use the chest measurement along with what you want as a breast size to determine your bra size. C cup tends to be a good 'average'. The chest measurement will be your band size.
Start small, build your wardrobe and make small outings. Soon you'll be enjoying life as Daniella.
We're here to help.

Welcome to C.D.H and looks like you have help with size and confidence on x dressing. I am a thin person so looking for cloths in stores don't bother me I just ask for help and say it's a gift to wife, I also buy on line but it's hard to find my size in which would me a 8 p. I buy my own make up and perfume and earrings and nylons and bras and pads in stores. That don't bother me any more. Love the feeling of woman's cloths too much I wear female cloths under my male cloths on certain days.
Hi Daniella;
Like you, I'm new to the site and allowing my oh so strong, and wonderful, feminine self to be expressed. I've been pleasantly surprised at how friendly many sales clerks are since I've started shopping for makeup and lingerie. More and more I've been explaining to them it's for me and asked them if they felt comfortable helping me. I've gravitated to the higher end stores, and although it costs more, I'm finding it's worth it. And honestly, I get a nice thrill and joy by "coming out" to them. But, it's taken me a long time to reach this place.
I have found CDH to be such an incredible place of love and support. I no longer feel isolated and alone. Everyone is sensitive that we each have to grow at our own pace and direction. I hope I can pass on some of the pure love that's been given to me. Never, never, forget you are a beautiful and precious person.
Hugs and kisses, your friend,

Hi Daniella!
I'm in the same boat as you! I really appreciate the answers from Erica, Lucinda and Jane as they are very encouraging! I am learning much here at CDH and I am getting more confidence in expressing the feminine woman inside me. With everyone's help I will freely and openly be able to live my life as Brittany! It's a journey of a thousand steps, but I will get there, thanks to the help and encouragement from my friends here at CDH!
Hugs and kisses 💋💋💋

My wife and I shop thrift stores. I place some male clothing on top of my women's clothing. No one is the wiser. You can try on many sizes to determine what fits. I even bring shoes into the dressing room to try on. after you determine your size you can shop anywhere.
