I'm rachelle. And I'm from Liverpool in England. I've always known pretty much from a very young age that I was different. I like many, for years have suppressed feelings because of the way society viewed trans people back over 20 years ago. However, in the last 10 years, I have explored my female identity more and more. 2 years ago I decided I would spend more then half my time as my real self. This now turns out that I'm nearly fulltime as rachelle. And it feels so good just to be happy. Its still very tough, and I like many, also have anxieties around going out, meeting people or telling family and friends. But I am getting there. Hopefully soon I will get the courage to seek medical support and commit to fully transitioning.
Well that's a bit about me. Can't wait to get to know everyone on this site. And would love to chat and get to know you. Rache x

You say that being Rachelle makes you happy; I find that exactly the same thing is true of my life as Ellie. After many years of being closeted I'm increasingly getting out and about ... and it feels wonderful.

Its so tough living in constant conflict with yourself. we all know that dilemma. but sounds like your ahead of the curve. knowing who you are and embracing it is something many of us struggle with daily.
