I never thought I'd have the confidence to dress in public, but it's come, miraculously, since July. Being on this site, and meeting other members, has made all the difference.
Anyway, I think you're going to love it here. We're a very friendly and supportive bunch and we certainly DO love to chat.

I joined 11 months ago and I've seen my own confidence go through the roof, thanks to the encouragement and support I've had from my friends here. I hid my secret for over 50 years, feeling all the shame and guilt that often accompanies wanting to express our feminine sides. Since joining CDH, my life has changed so much for the better and I've never been happier.

My family don't know about my crossdressing.
I just the need the confidence to dress in public.
This can cause some serious situations, so please be careful. There are a few ways that you can mitigate some of them, though.
You could come out to at least your wife. That has its own issues, but she might allow you some safe way to crossdress that you can't do right now.
Or you can continue to dress the way that you do now with the related risks of getting caught, some day.
It isn't clear if you have gone out in public yet at all or how you would like to do it. Going out entirely en femme is more of a challenge than doing it androgynously, for example.
We are here for you when you decide what you want do.
