It can take a little while to figure out how everything works here. I've been a regular on the site since July 2023 (and now work here!) and I'm still finding bits that I didn't know about 🙂
As Allie says though, there's always someone around to help if you run into any difficulties. It's a very, very friendly place and the girls here always have time for one another.

@beckylynn It's great to have you here Becky. This can all be overwhelming at times....I've felt this way myself. Having a community like CDH to draw on will help you a lot. I've been here for about a 1 1/2 years and it has helped my grow significantly. While the details are different, there are a lot of common things in all our story arcs. I'm sure that you will find others here with experiences and feelings that you can draw on as you figure your story out. Similarly, there will be others who can benefit from what you have to offer.
@beckylynn Hi Becky! There is a lot of good information here. I spend most of my time in the forums since that is where most of the exchange of ideas, thoughts and information goes on. The articles are very good also since they provide in depth information. In general, there is just a lot of good things here for girls like us! Just take your time, poke around a bit and I'm sure you will find things that will be helpful and enjoyable for you!

@beckylynn Hi and welcome! In an effort to maybe try and help, I suppose I'd want to ask - What is it you're hoping to get out of CDH?
- Information and How To's? A stroll through the forums is a great way to do that. I've only been here a bit over a year, but there is just about every topic you can think of covered in the forums. Head there and toss some phrases in the search bar and see what comes up!
- Friendships? There's a chat room available which, at most times, has anywhere from 10-25 people in it from all over (mostly US based, but a number of our UK sisters, and the occasional other location). Chat is super friendly and there's usually an Ambassador about who can answer questions or find them out for you.
- Local events or outing? We have a page dedicated to these! Check in from time to time and see if anything interests you.
- Photos or galleries? Lady members (which you're one of) can share up to 5 photos at a time in their public gallery. They need to be approved once submitted (guidelines), but mostly that takes very little time at all. Also, by clicking on any member's name you can see the gallery items they've posted - whether to browse or get ideas for yourself - I'm totally guilty of that!
As you've no doubt already noticed, it's a very welcoming and friendly group. We all know what it's like to be new and maybe feel a little adrift, so you'll find a lot of people ready to help you!
