If I had known at a young age that I wasnt the only one doing this then it wouldve made my life a bit easier.   Knowing that Im just like lots of other normal people makes me more relaxed.

I dont see age as an issue, but just be wary of doing things you want to do because its what "You want to do them" and not because someone else said so.   I think Kids (sorry Im old - LOL) these days have a great society to live in.   Information and support is just a few clicks away and society seems more understanding of minority groups now than ever before,

Hello Valerie and welcome to CDH its a good place to learn! Many here are very very good at understanding this as most have started dressing at an early age and understand the pit falls.

Be careful of who you tell that you are CD .does your mom / dad know? do you think you can tell your mom? do you have sisters? Hi Valerie, and welcome to CDH. You'll find a ton of great info in the articles and forum posts. And more important, you'll find a bunch of terrific people who will answer questions for you, or just give you a friend to talk to.

My parents have no clue about this, I have some friends that know and help me shop, but that's about it

As someone else has already said.   Be careful who you tell.   Try to limit your online stuff to only those you trust completely if you must.   Here we are all in the same boat, trying to get advice, find friendships and maintain our anonymity unless we are very comfortable with the person we are talking too.   Just be careful I guess that nothing you do now can come back in the future to bite you.

Although I sympathise with your situation and I know that many of us started crossdressing at a young age, this site is only open to those above the age of majority.

When you signed up you agreed to the Terms of Service. At the beginning of those it clearly states:

It is then shortly after stated:
"SECTION 1 – WEBSITE TERMS
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence..."

Even though this is a family-friendly site and we endeavour to keep it free of so-called 'adult content' the fact remains that it is only open to those over the required age. You can however, remain here if your parents/guardians give permission to do so by opening an account for you, as covered by the last part of the age of majority rule "...or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependants to use this site."

Valerie one site you can check out is Laura's Playground, searchable on the internet. They do not have the same age restrictions.
