Hi from Colorado Springs

Hi everybody, I just recently found this site on a referral from Chloe on Quora. I've been using another site for the past year and a half, but it's really primarily transgender people, and the crossdressers there tend to be focused on the transition path. It's supportive like this place seems to be, and I feel like I have a lot of friends, or at least acquaintances there. I hope I can find the same here.

For myself, I am struggling to discover if I should be on the transition path or "just" be a crossdresser for the rest of my life. It's starting to feel like the latter -- I'm not one of those people who have always felt like I should have been a woman, and I am mostly Ok with my body (except for all the hair that's in the wrong places, and not on top of my head where I need it). I do admire women and feel good when I'm crossdressed and get acknowledged by them as we pass. I've never been into male conversational topics, and at parties often find myself hanging with the women and talking about our kids.

I'm pretty much out in public; at my age of 65, what's to fear? Nobody has been rude yet, and the church ladies at the thrift store are supportive. I'm looking forward to meeting many of you!
