I found the site so good, I just started posting without an intro. How rude!
I'm Martha, I live in Ireland just outside Dublin. I've been crossdressing privately for decades. Only my SO knows, unless others have guessed!
I've gone outside twice recently, and enjoyed it, just chilling while en femme. Like many say, going outside isn't so hard. It seems really hard, and I did find the first time scary. I remember looking in the mirror in my hotel room, thinking "It's never going to be better than this, just do it." And kicking myself out the door. You'd think I was climbing Everest.
But people really didn't care. Second time, no panic. Third time, I'll let you know when it happens!
I'm not interested in transitioning, crossdressing is just something that gives me a lot of joy. I'm already picking up tips from things people are sharing here, and finding a lot of it relatable. Looks like a good supportive environment, and hoping I can be part of that.
I too have been only out a few times! with much the same feelings! I have no delusions about passing! If I can blend in, I'm doing good. But I'm a Big girl at 6'2" and a little on the heavy side. My best outing was in Las Vegas where I shopped, went to a bar and had a drink, and even used the ladies room with no problem!

Welcome Martha from a fellow UK member from across the Irish sea. You have certainly joined a very supportive community of girls who are more than willing to give advice. Hugs Lizzy
That's great, and I'm not into soccer so our five nil defeat doesn't bother me at all.
No really.
Not at all.
Hi Martha,
Welcome to CDH. Congratulations on getting out twice and overcoming the trepidation of being recognized.

Welcome to CDH Martha! I always thought Martha was such a pretty name.
You will find it gets a little easier each time you go out. When you are out and about, wear sunglasses whenever you can, even inside. Our eyes broadcast our nervousness to others. Sunglasses help reduce one's anxiety level.
Hi Martha nice to meet you and happy you found and joined us girls here .. Have fun looking around and reading the forums and posts say hello anytime ..
