I was really excited to find this site. I think it was a link from En Femme, which I love to visit and dream, looking at all of the pretty stuff I don't have. My wife would never understand the real me, so I go through life pretending...and somewhat sad.

@alisonout1123 Alison, I can certainly understand where you're coming from. And I get the bottling up reference. Do you manage to get any girl time? Wherever you are on your journey you will find girls here at the same stage (me in this case). Sharing in a safe supportive friendly community like CDH will do wonders for you. This place has become my goto support structure and I love it here. I hope you find the same hun. The En Femme site is just dreamy isn't it? And isn't it great that they use girls like us as models? So exciting looking through it but of course so frustrating if you can't have any of those beautiful girly things. I feel your pain girl.

@chrisfp99 What a thoughtful introduction, Chrissie. I am REALLY limited in the amount of girl time I get. I love my wife but she would never understand (same is true with others). And I've got a lot to lose. I wouldn't blame you girls for thinking I'm a fraud and a stalker. You've probably seen your share of them. And I know some of the girls here have started from a similar place, so I claim no special challenges - maybe just an elevated level of cowardice, which is certainly nothing to brag about. I'm really far from a fraud or a stalker, and I just want to be genuine. I have no idea where this will lead...maybe I'll just suck it up and be sad for the rest of my days. Or maybe you girls will help me to dig the bravery out of the deep hole in which it has resided for years. I often wish I had made different decisions earlier in life.
Anyway, I don't want to be a downer for a group of girls who have been nothing but nice to me. I really like this place so far and I thank you, Chrissie, and the other girls for your support.

@alisonout1123 Alison, my wife would never understand either. If you're a stalker the wonderful girls who look after this site would suss you out pdq and block you. Obviously that's not the case. And are you a fraud? I've asked this question a few times here as I never get the chance to dress. And the answer is a resounding no. It has nothing to do with the frequency of your dressing, but everything to do with how you feel about your girly self.
I hate the thought that you'll be sad for the rest of your days. There must be a solution, for both you and me. One thing I can assure you of is that the girls here will do everything in their power to help us xx.
Hi, Alison, please don't think of yourself as anything other than the same as us, people who have a need and a love of expressing those feminine aspects of our personalities.
Chrissie @chrisfp99 has said, there are lots of girls who rarely get the chance to dress but enjoy the sisterhood here. Yes, you can take some vicarious pleasure in reading the forum topics but more than that, you can join in and let the inner girl out for a while, it's like a safety valve 😂.

Belatedly, thank you so much for the kind words. It's great to get the perspective of an actual wife from the horse's mouth (so to speak). And it's encouraging. Maybe I'm wrong about my wife. Who knows? Anyway, thank you for being supportive of your husband and Victoria. I said it in another post, but you ladies should be given a ton of credit for being open minded and thinking critically in a world where many know what they know and will hear nothing else that might challenge them.

Hello Alison, and welcome! I'm still sort of new here myself and finding my way around but it's good to have a place where we can share our thoughts and feelings without being judged or made to feel ashamed.
I feel sad for your situation even though I have no SO to be concerned with. It's not any easy thing to live a double life when you have such an obviously powerful feminine side. Somehow, I think, you'll have to make peace with it, as I am trying to do.
However, if you can find a way to share your feelings with your wife, you might find a valuable ally. I've seen several married girls here, and at the very least their wives will allow them some girl time even if they don't want to participate. I know it's a frightening prospect. It's frightening enough for me as I venture out into the world as Rayna.
That En Femme site is amazing isn't it? I was just browsing there and I had to bail out before I started spending a boatload of money. This is by far not the least expensive hobby there is.
I hope you can find a way to experience the joy that we all have here. I've come to realize that life is short and getting shorter and I'd sooner live my dream that live with regrets.
