Hi Felicity Welcome to CDH. You are truly understood. The people here come from all over the world and span three generations. You certainly are not alone. It is very difficult for all of us to be told you are a boy and this is how you should dress and this is how you should think. We all try to do what we are told but we know that is not how we feel. So we have to begin a life long secret. We enjoy dressing and experssing our selves as a girl. That can be so difficult in so many cultures. CDH has a very accepting, understanding and loving culture. What is best is to read what so many of us have posted and add a comment when ready . What is most important is to underdstand you are not alone. We feel the same way as you do. The question Why?
