You've just joined a very warm and supportive community - the best CD/TG support site on the internet. It's a great place to chat, seek advice or simply sit back and absorb everything that's on offer.
I've made some wonderful friends here, and they've helped me to exit my particular closet and venture out into the open air since I signed up here in July 2023. My first actual memory of crossdressing was aged about five, and I was 61 in September, so that's a similar time span to your own 🙂
Admittedly, the fact that I'm currently single has made it a lot easier for me to do everything that I'm doing at the moment, after a lifetime of hiding.
There's lots to explore here. Have fun doing that, and if you need help with anything just shout.

Many married here some with acceptance some not some unknown. its a very difficult situation to figure out. I had no choice to tell her after 20 something years of marriage as I had an issue I couldn't hide but Im one of the lucky ones and she was all good with it. others have not been so lucky. Its a tough road to walk. your in great company here . Welcome to the family. Cheers RC

@casey2023 one thing I did was occasionally mention something in conversation like when qe would see an add on tv for rue paul I would make a comment like wow that really looks like a girl. and see how she reacted. bits and bits told me.my wife was not judgemental on the issue and helped me when I had to tell her.. good luck. take care. As you find your way through the forums and profiles, you'll see what I mean, most of our stories are very similar. You'll also find that this is a very diverse community, in ages, experience, goals and the level of support, if any, that we get form our SO's.
All of us, closeted or not, will say that being here, among like-minded sisters, is a great outlet for our feminine feelings. I joined at the start of this year and, after a long time of feeling alone, I've made great friends here. With their support and encouragement, I've even spent two days fully en femme, in public for the first (but definitely not the last) time!
By joining us, you'll now have the same encouragement and help wherever you choose to go in your own journey. I'm sure you'll love it here as much as we do 😊.

Casey, welcome to CDH. We are very similar in age and I understand your feelings. I was closeted until this year when I told my wife. She was a little understanding when I told her but does not want to see Traci dressed or any pictures. I am going to counseling and it has helped me speak to someone openly.
