You should thank your wife for helping you find us. Over time you'll find what its like to be yourself while spending time with likeminded people. Even if its just on the web..it can make a huge difference. Welcome  and enjoy.

I did not expect so many people to respond so quickly, it feels a little overwhelming. I have not thanked her for advising me but I did express my deep gratitude to her when I stepped out of our room with my chest piece on. I dont have much of anything else yet, but it felt good to just sit in the living room with her watching tv. She actually smiled at me for the first time in a long while. We have a lot of issues in our marriage but our friendship has always been good. I suffer from a lot of problems mentally as it is but it put me at ease a bit when she said that, when I stepped out and looked at her, although I was shy about it, she said I looked happier. Which is a really big deal for me.

Hi and welcome Jamie,

Like you I am an introvert, I don't typically seek out groups of people and am happier in my own company. However, I have found CDH to be so incredibility welcoming and helpful. I am in the early days of my journey having only accepted my crossdressing about 3 months ago and having come out to my wife a bit after that. It is so reassuring to find a group of people with such similar stories.

I hope you find CDH as helpful as I have.
