I wish life was less difficult for us all. That people could just accept others for who they are and get on with their lives. And I wish you where out of the closet being the most wonderful version of Jane you can be. Loved and accepted by everyone.
I choose to not dispense advice. I think it's morally wrong without knowing intimate details of the lives of others and often ends badly even if you do. I offer support, friendship and an ear. On occasion a question to reflect on.
You'd be surprised how often that's enough.
Your opinion on giving out advice is actually good advice. All Significant Others will react in different ways and we have no way of knowing how things might turn out.
